Two of our first year students, Mary Conroy and Áine Healy, have been shortlisted for the 2015 under 14 Maths Eyes Competition. Together with 5 other students from all over Ireland they will have their work showcased in Dublin in March. Students had to submit a real life picture and pose a maths question based on the picture. The competition was a joint venture between a number of Universities to help promote Maths. All exhibitors will receive a plaque, a copy of their poster and one overall winner will be announced in each category.
