HRC First year hurlers march on to Connacht semi final after two very impressive performances in recent weeks.

The first day out winning in emphatic fashion in a scoreline of 4_12 to 3_4 against Garbally College Ballinasloe.

Second and final game in group stage narrowly losing out to Portumna community school in a classic on a scoreline of 3_6 to 2_6 in a sun drenched Portumna Gaa grounds.

The squad has shown a great work ethic and never say die attitude which should stand to them as they progress to a Connacht semi-final against Kinvara in the coming weeks.
